At Community Montessori students are empowered to exercise freedom and responsibility and take an active role in the construction of their own education. This prepared Montessori environment provides student with the ability to practice skills which lead to lifelong learning, following passions, and personally meaningful achievements. The development of grit, character, and the ability to evaluate the impact of personal decisions are the skills which will enable students to grow into competent and capable adults.

The teachers and staff at this school are passionate about education and learning, and work daily to provide students with meaningful educational experiences. We employ Washington state certificated teachers to guide students and provide educational continuity from preschool through middle school, with tentative plans to expand to higher grade-level offerings being considered.

Community Montessori is a Washington State approved private school and DCYF licensed childcare center serving children from toddlers through teens. First established in 1968 as Hilltop Community Daycare Center, Community Montessori has served the greater Puget Sound area for over 55 years.
